Episode synopsis
Manu discovers that the letter she had written to Gangadhar Rao as well as the gold coin is missing. Unknown to Manu, Motibai steals the letter to prevent Gangadhar Rao from learning the truth about her, and plans to send a letter to the king in Manus name. Tatya Guru offers gifts to the King of Jhansi ahead of the wedding. Gangadhar Rao spots a letter and instructs Dixit to read it. The contents of the letter shock Dixit. Motibai, who rejoices in anticipation of the success of her plan, is in for a shock, when Dixit astutely starts praising the king. When Tatya Guru learns from Dixit that Manu had in fact opposed marrying Gangadhar Rao in the letter, he seeks an explanation from her. Manu admits that she did write a letter but never sent it to Gangadhar Rao.

Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani... Jhansi Ki Rani is an Indian historical drama based on the life of Lakshmi Bai, the Rani of Jhansi, one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The series was directed by Jitendra Srivastava and written by Rajesh Saksham, Ila Dutta Bedi, Malavika Asthana and Mairaj Zaidi. It premiered on 18 August 2009 on Zee TV with Ulka Gupta playing Queen Lakshmi Bai. On 8 June 2010 the story moved on several years and Kratika Sengar portrayed the Queen from there on. The show's last episode went to air on 19 June 2011.
