Episode synopsis
Motibai and the other girls apply Uptan (turmeric paste) in the prenuptial ceremony. Manu and the girls are having fun when Aaishri visits Manu. Manu throws some turmeric on Aaishri. Manu apologises to Aaishri and so does Moropant. Manu offers her mothers collection of hymns to Aaishri as her first gift. Gangadhar asks Aaishri about Manu. Aaishri tells Gangadhar that she approves of Manu. Moropant is worried that Aaishri is angry with Manu. But Tatya Dixit tells Moropant that Aaishri has approved of Manu. Fraser decides to create unrest in Jhansi by causing a riot amongst the higher and lower castes. Fraser tells Jankibai that the Shudras (lower caste) are impersonating Brahmins (higher caste). Moropant is worried as the priest from Bithur is not able to come. Jankibai decides to use a lower caste person to solemnise Gangadhars wedding. She tells Fraser about her plan and how Aaishri will not allow the wedding to happen when she comes to know of this.

Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani... Jhansi Ki Rani is an Indian historical drama based on the life of Lakshmi Bai, the Rani of Jhansi, one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The series was directed by Jitendra Srivastava and written by Rajesh Saksham, Ila Dutta Bedi, Malavika Asthana and Mairaj Zaidi. It premiered on 18 August 2009 on Zee TV with Ulka Gupta playing Queen Lakshmi Bai. On 8 June 2010 the story moved on several years and Kratika Sengar portrayed the Queen from there on. The show's last episode went to air on 19 June 2011.
