Episode synopsis
Sleeman arrives in court to meet Gangadhar Rao. Gangadhar Rao accepts the terms of the treaty on the condition that he is given the sole rights of administration to the Kingdom of Jhansi. Gangadhar Rao is declared the King of Jhansi with all administrative rights. The ministers congratulate Gangadhar and sing praises about the good fortune that Manikarnika has brought. Gangadhar Rao and Manu perform the post wedding rituals. Gangadhar has to rename his new bride. He tells the priest that he will declare the name in court. Manu wants to meet Moropant, but Aaishri refuses. Gangadhar, himself, goes to invite Moropant to Manus renaming ceremony. He expresses his happiness that Manikarnika has brought him good fortune. Aaishri tells Manu that she should learn to forget her father. Manu is delighted when Moropant comes to meet her. Aaishri is displeased and does not speak to Moropant. Aaishri expresses her displeasure to Gangadhar too. Gangadhar renames Manikarnika as Laxmibai.

Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani... Jhansi Ki Rani is an Indian historical drama based on the life of Lakshmi Bai, the Rani of Jhansi, one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The series was directed by Jitendra Srivastava and written by Rajesh Saksham, Ila Dutta Bedi, Malavika Asthana and Mairaj Zaidi. It premiered on 18 August 2009 on Zee TV with Ulka Gupta playing Queen Lakshmi Bai. On 8 June 2010 the story moved on several years and Kratika Sengar portrayed the Queen from there on. The show's last episode went to air on 19 June 2011.
