Episode synopsis
Jankibai poisons the food being sent to Moropant thinking that Chimnabai will eat it. Moropant and Chimnabai eat the poisoned food and they collapse. Jankibai tells Aaishri that Laxmibai is a friend of Chimnabai, the daughter of Khanvilkar. Aaishri confronts Laxmibai. Khanvilkar comes to the palace looking for his daughter and asking to meet Laxmibai. Aaishri tells Laxmibai that she is barred from leaving her room and speaking to anyone till Gangadhar arrives. Aaishri refuses permission to Khanvilkar for meeting Laxmibai. Jankibais servant informs Aaishri and Khanvilkar about a girl in Durgawada. Aaishri and the others see Moropant trying to revive an unconscious Chimnabai. Khanvilkar blames Moropant. Laxmibai feels trapped in the finery of a queen. Aaishri blames Laxmibai of not belonging to an affluent and prestigious family. She tells her of Moropant being found with Chimnabai in a compromising position. Aaishri tell Laxmibai that no one can save her marriage.

Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani... Jhansi Ki Rani is an Indian historical drama based on the life of Lakshmi Bai, the Rani of Jhansi, one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The series was directed by Jitendra Srivastava and written by Rajesh Saksham, Ila Dutta Bedi, Malavika Asthana and Mairaj Zaidi. It premiered on 18 August 2009 on Zee TV with Ulka Gupta playing Queen Lakshmi Bai. On 8 June 2010 the story moved on several years and Kratika Sengar portrayed the Queen from there on. The show's last episode went to air on 19 June 2011.
