Episode synopsis
Gangadhar strips Laxmibai of all her administrative rights and confines her to her room. Laxmibai is upset that Gangadhar got angry with her. A few British soldiers disguise themselves as the soldiers of Jhansi and attack farmers. The farmers are saved by Samar who inspires them to unite and protest against the taxes imposed by Gangadhar. The farmers protest in front of the royal palace. Gangadhar tries to pacify the crowd but he fails. Samar Singh shoots an arrow at the balcony where Gangadhar is standing. Laxmibai is shocked to see Samar. Gangadhar is upset that he has to take the tax from the people. Laxmibai wonders why Samar is instigating the farmers. Laxmibai gets a letter from Samar in which he threatens to kill Gangadhar. Laxmibai dons her Kranti Guru form to protect Gangadhar from Samar.

Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani... Jhansi Ki Rani is an Indian historical drama based on the life of Lakshmi Bai, the Rani of Jhansi, one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The series was directed by Jitendra Srivastava and written by Rajesh Saksham, Ila Dutta Bedi, Malavika Asthana and Mairaj Zaidi. It premiered on 18 August 2009 on Zee TV with Ulka Gupta playing Queen Lakshmi Bai. On 8 June 2010 the story moved on several years and Kratika Sengar portrayed the Queen from there on. The show's last episode went to air on 19 June 2011.
