Episode synopsis
Sakhubai threatens Jhalkari to listen to her, or her family would be in deep trouble. When Jhalkari voices her worries to Sakhubai, she replies that none can enter the Commissionerate. She reveals that Jhalkari would mix explosives during the prayers and hand it to the king. When Gangadhar would offer it in the fire, the ensuing explosion would kill him. Sakhubai wonders how Jhalkari still has the scar and wipes her face. She gets a shock of her life when she realises that it is not Jhalkari but the queen! Laxmibai escapes. Meanwhile, Gangadhar's hand gets accidentally burnt, so Jankibai displays a lot of concern. Seeing this, Jhalkari confides the truth to Jankibai about her identity and about Sakhubai and Lachos ploy to kill Gangadhar. However, Jhalkari is stunned when she realises that even Jankibai is supportive of Lacho and Sakhubais plan. Kranti Guru and Tatya Guru fight the men in the Commissioners building.

Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani... Jhansi Ki Rani is an Indian historical drama based on the life of Lakshmi Bai, the Rani of Jhansi, one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The series was directed by Jitendra Srivastava and written by Rajesh Saksham, Ila Dutta Bedi, Malavika Asthana and Mairaj Zaidi. It premiered on 18 August 2009 on Zee TV with Ulka Gupta playing Queen Lakshmi Bai. On 8 June 2010 the story moved on several years and Kratika Sengar portrayed the Queen from there on. The show's last episode went to air on 19 June 2011.
