Episode synopsis
Laxmibai and Tatya Guru free Jhalkari's father and brother. Jhalkari's father pleads with Laxmibai to free Jhalkari once, and they would leave Jhansi forever. Marshall is furious and says that they must have gone to Ganesha's temple. A worried Jhalkari goes to Aaishri and confides the truth to her. However, Jhalkari gets shocked to see that it is Lacho sitting in the guise of Aaishri! Lacho warns Jhalkari that she would kill her father and brother if she did not do as told. An upset Jhalkari finally decides not to worry about the consequence and tell the king the truth. She tries to expose her scar to him but Sakhubai covers her face. Meanwhile, Laxmibai meets Prachi and her other confidantes and says that she must reach the temple. The king waits for his queen to attend the religious ceremony but when Jhalkari heads towards him, she trips, and he holds her.

Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani... Jhansi Ki Rani is an Indian historical drama based on the life of Lakshmi Bai, the Rani of Jhansi, one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The series was directed by Jitendra Srivastava and written by Rajesh Saksham, Ila Dutta Bedi, Malavika Asthana and Mairaj Zaidi. It premiered on 18 August 2009 on Zee TV with Ulka Gupta playing Queen Lakshmi Bai. On 8 June 2010 the story moved on several years and Kratika Sengar portrayed the Queen from there on. The show's last episode went to air on 19 June 2011.
