Episode synopsis

An injured Marshall comes to Gangadhars court and informs him that he would be leaving Jhansi for good. The villagers taunt Marshall for being a coward. Tatya Guru accompanies Marshall to make sure that he is out of Jhansis border. Meanwhile, the king gifts his queen a grand necklace, and she promises that she will have it removed only after her death. The painter at the palace sketches a portrait of the queen and king as well as that of Prachi. Moropant and Laxmibai are delighted and surprised to see Vahini Saheb grace the occasion of Moropants wedding. Aaishri taunts Vahini Saheb that Laxmibai was ignorant about the ways of a royal family, so she had to make great efforts to teach Laxmibai the same. Gangadhar insists that Vahini Saheb wait to till the Virat Mahotsav (A festival worshipping Goddess Durga). Moropant and Chimnabai get married. On the other hand, Marshall refuses to accept defeat and vows to destroy Jhansi.

Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani... Jhansi Ki Rani is an Indian historical drama based on the life of Lakshmi Bai, the Rani of Jhansi, one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The series was directed by Jitendra Srivastava and written by Rajesh Saksham, Ila Dutta Bedi, Malavika Asthana and Mairaj Zaidi. It premiered on 18 August 2009 on Zee TV with Ulka Gupta playing Queen Lakshmi Bai. On 8 June 2010 the story moved on several years and Kratika Sengar portrayed the Queen from there on. The show's last episode went to air on 19 June 2011.
