Episode synopsis
The British soldiers go to arrest Samar but he fights them bravely. Spears aims to shoot Samar but just then, Laxmibai arrives and takes his gun away. She saves Samar from the British and asks him to go away from Jhansi. An enraged Gangadhar arrives a while later and feels totally betrayed as a husband and as the King of Jhansi, so he strips Laxmibai of all the rights of a queen, and says that she has no place in Jhansi now. Gangadhar Rao returns to the palace and announces that Manikarnika will never return to the palace. Laxmibai leaves her jewellery near the gates of palace. Lacho tells Sakhubai that dethroning Gangadhar would be her job. Tatya Guru and Moropant are shocked to know from Aaishri that Laxmibai is no longer the Queen of Jhansi or the wife of Gangadhar Rao. Aaishri blames Laxmibai for the troubles that they have had to face from the time she entered the palace. A heartbroken Laxmibai roams on the streets of Jhansi.

Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani... Jhansi Ki Rani is an Indian historical drama based on the life of Lakshmi Bai, the Rani of Jhansi, one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The series was directed by Jitendra Srivastava and written by Rajesh Saksham, Ila Dutta Bedi, Malavika Asthana and Mairaj Zaidi. It premiered on 18 August 2009 on Zee TV with Ulka Gupta playing Queen Lakshmi Bai. On 8 June 2010 the story moved on several years and Kratika Sengar portrayed the Queen from there on. The show's last episode went to air on 19 June 2011.
