Episode synopsis
Jhansi's Prime Minister and Raghunath are elated to know that Gangadhar Rao is alive. When Raghunath is about to tell everyone, the Prime Minister stops him saying that Gangadhar's enemies could try to harm him again. Tatya Guru decides to find Gangadhar Rao immediately. Laxmibai decides to hide her identity from Gangadhar. Samar happens to address her as Manu. Karma asks Laxmibai the reason for visiting the physician. She lies that her foot had got sprained. Tatya Guru overhears Martin telling Spears that the East India Company will take over Jhansi within 48 hours of Gangadhar Rao's death, under the doctrine of lapse. Meanwhile, Gangadhar regains consciousness. Laxmibai takes the disguise of a man and introduces herself as Raja. Raja asks Gangadhar if Laxmibai had indeed betrayed him. Gangadhar reveals that it was he who has betrayed her. Raja asks him if he will accept the Laxmibai as the Queen of Jhansi if she is really the head of the revolutionaries.

Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani... Jhansi Ki Rani is an Indian historical drama based on the life of Lakshmi Bai, the Rani of Jhansi, one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The series was directed by Jitendra Srivastava and written by Rajesh Saksham, Ila Dutta Bedi, Malavika Asthana and Mairaj Zaidi. It premiered on 18 August 2009 on Zee TV with Ulka Gupta playing Queen Lakshmi Bai. On 8 June 2010 the story moved on several years and Kratika Sengar portrayed the Queen from there on. The show's last episode went to air on 19 June 2011.
