Episode synopsis

Laxmibai fails to find the treasure and decides to kill herself by self-immolation. When Acharya is about to light the pyre, his disciples try to stop him. However, Karma snatches the torch and lights the pyre. Assuming Laxmibai to be dead, Karma declares himself the Subedar of the village and also asks Samar and Acharya to leave the village. Laxmibai escapes through a secret passage with the help of Samar Singh and Acharya Sajanand. As expected by Laxmibai, Karma tries to take the treasure out from its secret location. When Karma goes to meet Martin, Laxmibai stealthily follows him. Karma gives the treasure to Martin and asks him to make him the Subedar of the eleven villages. Martin gives him a document declaring him the Subedar of 11 villages, but Karma is shocked when Martin stabs him. Laxmibai is surprised to hear Karma's screams. Laxmibai finds Karma in a critical state. Karma is surprised to see Laxmibai alive.

Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani... Jhansi Ki Rani is an Indian historical drama based on the life of Lakshmi Bai, the Rani of Jhansi, one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The series was directed by Jitendra Srivastava and written by Rajesh Saksham, Ila Dutta Bedi, Malavika Asthana and Mairaj Zaidi. It premiered on 18 August 2009 on Zee TV with Ulka Gupta playing Queen Lakshmi Bai. On 8 June 2010 the story moved on several years and Kratika Sengar portrayed the Queen from there on. The show's last episode went to air on 19 June 2011.
