Episode synopsis
Raghunath and the Prime Minister go to help Gangadhar. The mysterious lady prays for the king and queen's well-being, and throws the glass lamp in frustration. The lamp breaks into pieces. At the same time, Gangadhar steps on a piece of glass and his foot starts to bleed. Tatya Dixit continues to perform black magic and demands Gangadhar's blood! Meanwhile, Gangadhar removes the glass piece and moves ahead for the plunge. She is shocked to see Laxmibai approaching towards Gangadhar and warning him just in time not to jump. A stunned Malcolm orders his men to attack Gangadhar and Laxmibai. The two fight the soldiers, and Laxmibai reveals to Gangadhar that his trusted confidante, Tatya Dixit, is one of the conspirators involved in having him killed. Laxmibai and Gangadhar escape on a horse but Malcolm orders his men to follow them. A furious Malcolm comes to Goddess Kali's temple and stabs Tatya Dixit because his plan had failed.

Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani... Jhansi Ki Rani is an Indian historical drama based on the life of Lakshmi Bai, the Rani of Jhansi, one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The series was directed by Jitendra Srivastava and written by Rajesh Saksham, Ila Dutta Bedi, Malavika Asthana and Mairaj Zaidi. It premiered on 18 August 2009 on Zee TV with Ulka Gupta playing Queen Lakshmi Bai. On 8 June 2010 the story moved on several years and Kratika Sengar portrayed the Queen from there on. The show's last episode went to air on 19 June 2011.
