Episode synopsis
Samar manages to tell Laxmibai that Kundan is a witness who can prove his innocence. John Lang tells the court that they have a witness. Nelson challenges Laxmibai that their witness will not be able to reach the court. Laxmibai too warns him that he will be defeated. Laxmibai dreams that Gangadhar is getting married again and gets disturbed. Gangadhar accepts a marriage proposal from the royal family. Laxmibai gets the order of presenting Kundan in court. Nelson wants to shoot Kundan but the jailor stops him. The people of Jhansi come to know of Laxmibai's efforts to protect Samar and Karma. They too reach court in support of Laxmibai. When Laxmibai leaves for court, she sees servants carrying wedding gifts. She is hurt that Gangadhar is marrying again. Tatya Guru reminds Laxmibai of her purpose. Moropant is distressed that Gangadhar has accepted the proposal. Laxmibai wipes her tears and gets ready to go to the court.

Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani... Jhansi Ki Rani is an Indian historical drama based on the life of Lakshmi Bai, the Rani of Jhansi, one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The series was directed by Jitendra Srivastava and written by Rajesh Saksham, Ila Dutta Bedi, Malavika Asthana and Mairaj Zaidi. It premiered on 18 August 2009 on Zee TV with Ulka Gupta playing Queen Lakshmi Bai. On 8 June 2010 the story moved on several years and Kratika Sengar portrayed the Queen from there on. The show's last episode went to air on 19 June 2011.
