Episode synopsis
Jankibai tells Hirabai not to emotionally blackmail Laxmibai into getting Gangadhar married again. Jankibai and Nelson make plans to destroy Laxmibai. Moropant worries that Laxmibai has to undergo such tribulations. Laxmibai tells Moropant that to save Jhansi from the British, she has decided that Jhansi will have an heir and for that Gangadhar will have to remarry. Nelson visits Gangadhar and tells him that Satara and Sambalpur were annexed as there was no heir in those states. Nelson tells that he is sure that Jhansi will definitely get an heir. Gangadhar tells him not to worry about Jhansi. Gangadhar tells Nelson that he is busy organizing a chess tournament with the statesmen of the other states. Nelson tells that he can even defeat Gangadhar in the game of chess. Laxmibai challenges him to a game of chess.

Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani... Jhansi Ki Rani is an Indian historical drama based on the life of Lakshmi Bai, the Rani of Jhansi, one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The series was directed by Jitendra Srivastava and written by Rajesh Saksham, Ila Dutta Bedi, Malavika Asthana and Mairaj Zaidi. It premiered on 18 August 2009 on Zee TV with Ulka Gupta playing Queen Lakshmi Bai. On 8 June 2010 the story moved on several years and Kratika Sengar portrayed the Queen from there on. The show's last episode went to air on 19 June 2011.
