Episode synopsis

Ride Owner: Krissy. 23 Year Old Female. Owner's Ride: 1969 Volkswagen Baja Bug. Krissy's ride was designed to be steady and durable, but it has a crooked tailpipe, old school tape deck and broken doors. Krissy had flipped the car in an off-road accident, and the car's condition has declined at a steady pace ever since. Wintergreen chewing gum barely keeps the door's lining from falling down, and an absence of windshield wipers makes it impossible for Krissy to drive in the rain. It's no surprise that Krissy's friends always steer clear of the car, which they describe as "busted and rusted." Krissy has battled drug addiction during her teenage years, and has since turned her whole life around. Currently she is going to school, and working for a PhD in psychology. Krissy thinks that her car deserves a repair to match her personal life, and that's where Xzibit comes in. Xzibit is about to pimp her ride. About Pimp My Ride

Pimp My Ride is a TV show produced by MTV. Each episode consists of taking one car in poor condition and restoring it, as well as customizing it. The original American version was hosted by rapper Xzibit. Recently, MTV2 has begun airing episodes from Pimp My Ride UK hosted by DJ Tim Westwood, which features cars being customised in the UK, and Pimp My Ride International, featuring cars in central Europe, hosted by hip hop artists Fat Joe and Lil' Jon, as well as the related CMT series Trick My Truck.
