Episode synopsis
A snide remark from the Mayor after a football match makes Stella realise that her dad NEVER takes off his crown... which is really embarrassing. So she convinces the King to take off his crown to come watch her next game. The thing is, King Bob's new look prompts a lot of uncomfortable questions from journalists and a rather irate reaction from the Queen Mother. When Stella tries to make things better, the nosy questions are suddenly directed at her. Why does Stella never wear her crown? Is she embarrassed to be a Royal? This prompts an identity crisis in Stella, who can't decide how she wants to present herself and what that means, no matter how many well-meaning talks she gets from her family. To wear a crown or not to wear a crown, what a dilemma.
About Royals Next Door
The series follows Stella and her royal family, who've been forced to move houses due to water damage in their castle. Queen Kat sees it as the perfect opportunity to modernise. In line with King Bob’s royal motto “Closer to the people” they decide to live in a normal house in an ordinary suburb.
