Episode synopsis
On the way to school, Xu Jingjing encountered a 200-pound male fatty at a breakfast stand she frequently visits. They both got into a tussle for a seat, which resulted in the breakfast stand's sign getting stuck to their pants. With school about to start, they had no choice but to head towards the school while grumbling at each other. The fatty turned out to be Kang Jiawei, the new transfer student in Xu Jingjing's class, Class 3, introduced by the homeroom teacher, Chen Bei. He was a regular participant in various city competitions and a well-known top student. Soon after, the midterm exam results were out, and Xu Jingjing, the underachiever, once again secured the last place in the class.
