Luna, a girl searching for a cure for her curse of transforming into a maned wolf every full moon, is the daughter of Carol, who began secret genetic research funded by a pharmaceutical group to find a solution to her daughter's problem, the result of a relationship with a werewolf during her days as a Biology student at university.
