23 years ago, two baby girls, Ella (Jasmine Sim) and Yoke (Rachel Wan) were switched at birth. It was not an accident. Their mothers Loh May Wan (Margaret Lim) and Jessica Shelley (Sue Tan), rivals from primary school, attempt to unravel the truth behind the baby swap as they grapple with their birth-daughters who are their polar opposites in every way. Deanna (Gayathri Segaren) finds out that she is terminally ill. She decides to entrust her husband, Kenneth (Ebi Shankara), to her best friend Ananya (Carla Dunareanu). Now, Ananya has to choose between James (Jason Godfrey), a man whom she has always admired, and Kenneth. Meanwhile, as dutiful wife Rosnani (Ariati Tyeb Papar) is tending to her boss and mother-in-law Adina's (Mastura Ahmad) orders at their family restaurant, her husband Zaryn (Hatta Said) is rendezvousing with his boss Syirah (Adlina Adil). Rosnani's life revolves around her family and now, her world is about to shatter.

EP 1
Two former classmates, drink-stall operator Loh May Wan and wealthy socialite Jessica Shelley, cross paths again when their daughters Ah Yoke and Ella are involved in a car accident. Henceforth, their lives are inextricably entwined. Meanwhile, Deanna, mother of three and devoted wife to her very hapless husband Kenneth Bala, makes a startling life changing discovery that affects her best friend Ananya. At the Hassans, dutiful wife Rosnani struggles with her domineering mother-in-law Adina, who dotes on her ‘perfect’ son Zaryn

The complexities of the Shelley family unravel as everyone from ex-wives to step-siblings fret over Ella at the hospital. At the Balas, Kenneth‘s reliance on Deanna comes to light as he struggles to manage the household chores and their three children without her. For Rosnani, there is more than meets the eye about her marriage with Zaryn as she focuses on having a baby.

Jessica is determined to find out who borrowed money from the loan sharks. Kenneth gets worried when Deanna has to go back to the hospital again for a check-up. Ah Hock receives another online post from his father, much to May Wan’s displeasure.

Deanna continues dealing with her health issues and worries about Kenneth's inability to manage the household without her. Jessica tries to resolve the loan shark crisis and Louis springs a surprise.

Ananya and Kenneth clash over Deanna, and in the process, they begin to wonder if everything is fine with Deanna. Zaryn continues to keep Syirah’s pregnancy under wraps. Meanwhile, May Wan receives a surprise inheritance.

Deanna wrestles with the reality of her diagnosis as Ananya tries to be there for her. Syirah gets jealous when she learns that Zaryn’s relationship with Rosnani continues to be closer than she thought. At the Shelleys, James is determined to oust Jessica from the family.

Tired of Zaryn's inaction to leave Rosnani for her, Syirah uses her fetal ultrasound scan to draw him in. Having gathered all evidence on Ella's paternity, James confronts Jessica about her infidelity. Ananya's insistence that Deanna break the news of her brain cancer to Kenneth backfires.

Despite Ananya’s attempts to engage Deanna, Deanna continues to keep her distance. Zaryn manages to convince Syirah to give him more time to strategise his divorce with Rosnani. After coming across an old news article, Jessica starts to suspect who her real daughter might be.
