Episode synopsis

In this episode, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Roy Keane, Jill Scott and Ian Wright are joined by Paul Merson for an open and wide-ranging conversation. We start with Paul’s time on Soccer Saturday, looking at what he loves most about the role and whether there are moments of analysis he wishes he could take back. The conversation then turns to club loyalties, with Paul opening up about being a Chelsea fan despite his strong ties to Arsenal, and who he would want to win if the two sides ever met. Paul also reflects on his playing career, sharing stories from his time at Arsenal, the top players he played alongside, and giving his thoughts on the current Arsenal side and whether they can go all the way this season. We then move away from the pitch as Paul speaks honestly about life after football and some of the challenges he has faced along the way. To finish, we look ahead to England’s chances at the World Cup and Paul answers your community questions.
