In today’s episode, our special guest is one of the best goalkeepers ever in Peter Schmeichel We kick things off with Jamie Carragher sharing how the legendary Danish 1992 Euro champion Peter helped him experience the iconic Yellow Wall at Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. The 1999 treble winner reflects on his career before turning pro, including some early jobs in a textile factory which he believes helped him in football. Schmeichel shares a behind-the-scenes story from the dressing room, where he once clashed with Sir Alex Ferguson in an Anfield dressing room, whilst Roy and Peter dive into their infamous fallout and discuss their brawl. The panel debate who the best goalkeeper in the world is and Peter opens up about his close bond with his son, fellow goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel; reflecting on Leicester’s famous Premier League triumph and why he believes Celtic is currently the perfect club for him.
