Episode synopsis
Amalia grapples with the aftermath of surgery, struggling to relinquish control and adjust to the unfamiliar role of a patient. Amir reenters her life, assuming the role of caretaker, not only to her but also to their children. Adi successful fraudulent comedy act also leads to a new romantic relationship with Andrei, the comedy club's owner who is drawn to her honesty and bravery on stage. Back home, Amalia's illness impacts her children- Itamar, her son, is consumed by Googling medical facts and statistics, while Ella contemplates proceeding with her pregnancy, despite her parents' objections. Micah's attempt to keep things business as usual is derailed when he finds out his deputy is undermining his authority, while his daughter wants to cut short her South American trip and return home. In the hospital, Amalia and Micah find themselves alone in the chemotherapy room, and their relationship takes a personal turn.
