Summer vacation is finally here! Hijita and Rensuke enjoy Beniko's special shaved ice, while Mamekichi and Tamao go catch some bugs. Meanwhile, Haruaki goes to a bookstore where Sano works and is recommended a book but that ends up causing havoc!

Haruaki Abe is happy to finally fulfill his dream of becoming a teacher. That happiness is short-lived after he arrives at Hyakki Academy and finds out the school is full of monsters!
