One morning, Ratnamma was conversing with Nallu and Saiyyu when they both expressed their desire for a bicycle. Ratnamma, facing financial constraints, promised to buy them one later in the week after receiving her pension. She then noticed Cleatus returning home and called out to him, requesting repayment of the money he owed her. Cleatus calmly attempted to persuade Ratnamma to grant him a week’s extension, but Kanakan intervened, escalating the situation into a heated argument.
