Around the same time, after taking her syrup medicine, Ratnamma suddenly had a disturbing vision of the four meeting with an accident—a piece of news she imagined hearing from Ronald. The thought left her deeply shaken. Later, Thankam and Takkuddu arrived at Kanakan’s place, ready to leave and waiting for Kanakan and Lilly, which only heightened her fear.
