Episode synopsis

“An unfulfilled same‑sex marriage… and a registration that never came through.” For ten years, Yuki (Hinoi Asuka) and Airi (Kitano Ruka) lived together, believing their bond would one day be recognized. But everything collapses when Yuki suddenly marries a man, leaving Airi shattered. Seeking justice, she turns to Otonokita Hajime (Maeda Gouki). The shock deepens when Yuki’s lawyer is revealed to be Owari Yū (Tazekai Terunosuke), a top‑class attorney — and the husband of Hajime’s sister, Kaede (Iriyama Noriko). As Hajime prepares for a fierce legal battle, he is unexpectedly suspended for three months. With no way forward, he teams up with his partner Iseya Kai (Mizusawa Rintarō) to devise a bold plan. Meanwhile, Kaede’s health worsens, and when Hajime, Kai, and Anna (Masuda Risa) visit her, an unforeseen situation unfolds.
