About this season
Wen Shu, an immortal maiden sent to the mortal realm for her trial, battles dark sorcery and vengeful spirits while confronting the trials of the seven emotions. After a devastating sacrifice allows her to ascend, she is forced to return to the human world once more to unravel a final mystery and bring her unfinished karmic bond to a close.
