Pappu is upset that Sureeli has left the town without informing him and misses her all day. Mukundi is scared to tell Indu to change the menu for dinner as he has already handed her over a list of items to be made in advance.

Based in an imaginary small town called “Lapataganj” (means a lost place), the story is inspired from the writings of Sharad Joshi-who was an eminent Hindi satirist. His wide range of work has highlighted the bitter truth of our society with a satirical punch.
