Episode synopsis

The relationship between Frode and Pavel gradually warms up. They begin to communicate more often, reminisce about the past, and try to understand whether it is possible to restore what was lost many years ago. Pavel's children become attached to Frode, who becomes almost like family to them. This causes discontent among some villagers, especially those who have long had their sights set on Pavel. One of the local women openly tells Froda that Pavel is now a free man and can choose anyone he wants — not necessarily her. Froda worries and doubts her chances for happiness.

About Frodya

In the village, everyone calls her Frodya. Only her late father and her beloved Pavel—whom life separated from her many years ago—ever used her full name, Aphrodite. He grew jealous over a young detective, rushed off to the city in the heat of the moment, and stayed there. The years went by, youth slipped away, and there wasn’t a single day of happiness in Frodya’s life. And now Pavel has returned, but not alone: he’s brought his three little ones to visit his mother. Frodya’s heart gave a jolt, as if they’d parted only yesterday…
