Episode synopsis
Concluding the topic prayer for the nation Pastor Josh Jamison We as believers put our trust in the lord and humble ourselves and pray for the healing of our land as a nation. We need to agree as believers and agree God wants good things to take place. Referencing Matthew 16:19 (NKJV) And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."There is a freedom to pray for the nation. The Lord has given us the keys to the kingdom of heaven so we bind the strong men we lose the word of God and Gospel. The Effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. When we fervently pray passionately pursuing God and seek the face of God and ask him to release his will to us. The Lord invites us to be a part of what he is doing. Melissa Jamison Adds that God wants to reveal his holiness to the nation. God wants to put himself on display for the nations through his people (disciples). God's Holiness isn’t going to be revealed through bored Christians. God isn’t boring and praying isn’t boring, Praying together will be an anointing experience as God will move. God is the lord of our government we need to pray for those in authority our leaders even if we don't believe in all of their viewpoints lift them up in pray. Some people may say the world doesn’t want to know about God they are rejecting him at every turn and Christianity is going down the hill. Melissa exclaims why would we buy into that, as Christians why would we take the back seat and Say "Well I guess nobody wants to hear us" We wouldn’t do that. We stand strong on God's Word and integrity and pray the will of God in our situation. When we leave out God's word from our society and as a culture we are digressing especially when Prayer was taken out of our schools.
About Revolution 618
The Revolution aims to step outside the typical realm of the broadcast Christian genre. Its innovative style of discussion around a table in a peaceful, low lit, comfortable surrounding differs from the pulpit pastor preaching. The topics convey a much different, younger perspective into Christianity and evangelism. The youthful and upbeat personalities allow the hosts to talk to the viewers and not at them. The Revolution intends to fire up emotion in the hearts of its viewers with everyday modern family experiences and testimonies fueled by the Bible itself.
