Episode synopsis
荆棘岭上，八戒挥耙开路，师徒们艰难行进。入夜，唐僧被树精摄入木仙庵内吟诗品茶，杏仙对唐僧一往情深，献舞呈歌，唐僧不为所动。天明始得徒弟们相救，来到“小雷音寺”。唐僧虔诚拜入，不料寺中之佛却是妖精幻化，将悟空扣入金钵，唐僧等束手被擒。在二十八星宿协助下，悟空方得脱身，与妖精交战，却被妖精收入宝袋之中……后经悟空请来弥勒佛，在西瓜田里设下巧计，终于擒住黄眉童妖。唐僧师徒得以继续西行。
