Episode synopsis
师徒二人来到观音院，金池长老盛情接待。悟空向长老炫耀袈裟，长老顿起贪心，将袈裟借回房中观赏。金池长老为占据袈裟，命众僧纵火，想要烧死唐僧师徒。悟空到南天门向广目天王借避火罩，保住师父，又吹起神风，将观音院烧成一片瓦。长老羞愧惶恐，跌入火中，自焚而死。宝袈裟早已被黑风山的熊怪趁火打劫而去，并想开“佛衣会”炫耀宝物。悟空请来观音，收服了黑熊怪。
