Episode synopsis
LONG-HUNG has returned from Shanghai. He is taken aback by the news that the Japanese have also taken Beiping. He commends MUI for her foresight on the other hand. MUI goes to Shanghai to take KWAN back to Guangzhou. The sound of gunfire is echoing in the air. KWAN faints. MUI decides not to leave Shanghai before he gets better. The air raid siren goes off. People in Guangzhou rush to the bomb shelter. SING sees FAN in the shelter. A section of the railway has been bombed. The train service will not resume in ten days. Regardless of her seasickness, MUI decides to go to Hong Kong by boat. The attack of the Japanese has stopped because of the cloudy weather. CHING and YEUNG take the opportunity to go out.
