Episode synopsis
The police knew that YAD will arrange to leave Hong Kong. TAI and his team are arranged to oversee the airport. However, YAD losses his passport. TAI cannot see YAD. YEUNG knows that WAl is in a very dangerous position. He arranges WAI and his wife to stay in a hotel. There are even guards at the lobby and lifts. WAI takes a drink at the lobby. All cops move forward to protect him. YAD knew that he has no chance to kill WAl. He leaves the hotel. TAI accompanies WAI and MEI to FONG's travel agency to get the flight tickets. YAD shoots twice at the opposite building. Fortunately, WAI is all right as he has worn a bullet-resistant jacket. However, FONG is hurt due to an explosion at her travel agency. YAD has set a bomb at FONG's travel agency. YAD again attempts to shoot WAI. However, somebody shoots from behind. YAD is eventually shot to death.

The Criminal Investigator II is a 1996 Hong Kong police procedural television drama. Produced by Jonathan Chik and edited by Chow Yuk-ming and Chiu Ching-yung, the drama is a TVB production and the direct sequel to 1995's The Criminal Investigator. The story follows a team of investigators from the Organized Crime and Triad Bureau unit of the Royal Hong Kong Police Force.
