Episode synopsis
When the case of KUEN is brought to trial, a few witnesses point out that they have seen KUEN and MEI had an argument. Knowing that it is an adverse situation, KIT tries to seek for some beneficial evidence for KUEN. KIT goes back to MEI’s home and requests to talk with her alone. KIT takes the opportunity to persuade MEI to change her mind for not suing KUEN. MEI suddenly changes her testimony in court so that KUEN is acquitted. On the contrary, KUEN wants to sue MEI for murder. Regarding the case that EMILY has hit her Filipino maid, HON tries to prod her into an out-of-court settlement. Yet EMILY refuses to give in. All the colleagues show their sympathy to HON when he is being wilfully ordered about by EMILY. HON finally understands that he is being used by EMILY and has a fight with her. HON accidentally hurts EMILY and she wants to sue him. When IVY and YIP get home, they find that MEI has committed suicide.… ...
