CHU has been described as a stern father in HON’s interview. As a result, there is a very tense atmosphere in the house during dinner at the CHUNGS. TUNG is home. He takes out a photo of CHU taken when he was young, telling the others CHU was once rebellious too. KEI has written a piece of article on French chestnut cakes. HON invites her to try his chestnut cakes after reading it. HON immerses himself in making patisserie. ROGER wonders what makes him want to be a patissier. Someone has given HING two free coupons for an expensive restaurant. HON gets the coupons in the end. He invites KEI to go with him. KEI and BING have an interview. When he learns that she is meeting HON, he deliberately prolongs the interview. She hears HON say he has no intention to chase her when she finally gets to the restaurant.

About Be Home for Dinner

Chung Kwok-Chu is a renowned food critic and an assistant editor-in-chief of a newspaper, Ko Jim Daily. When his son, Si-Hon returns from Canada, Chu is disappointed to find that Si Hon intends to become a chef rather than taking up a professional career. His attempts to guide his son away are thwarted when Shum Bui-yee, a well-known and respected chef, reluctantly accepts Si-Hon as her assistant. Meanwhile, Kwok-Chu struggles to keep peace amongst extended family members.
