Episode synopsis
KEI has bought MR. KO a box of egg tarts. He is so happy that he pays for everybody in the cafeteria. CHU is jealous. KEI walks past a cinema after work. Somebody else is selling two tickets to a blockbuster. She is more than happy to have them. A customer has postponed his booking so HON can attend UNCLE KAU’s dinner with his father. Meanwhile, KEI calls and tells him about the movie, putting him in a dilemma. Fortunately, MEI-CHING gives him a hand just in time. UNCLE KAU asks MR. KO and CHU how their children are doing. Both reply that their children are all very busy with work. As soon as they have finished, HON and KEI appear right in front of their eyes hand-in-hand. MR. KO and CHU are both embarrassed and angry. MR. KO knows very well that career and boyfriend are more important than him in KEI’s eyes. But he also knows equally well that if HON is busy, she can surely spend more time with him.

Chung Kwok-Chu is a renowned food critic and an assistant editor-in-chief of a newspaper, Ko Jim Daily. When his son, Si-Hon returns from Canada, Chu is disappointed to find that Si Hon intends to become a chef rather than taking up a professional career. His attempts to guide his son away are thwarted when Shum Bui-yee, a well-known and respected chef, reluctantly accepts Si-Hon as her assistant. Meanwhile, Kwok-Chu struggles to keep peace amongst extended family members.
