Episode synopsis
KWAI is tidying up the storeroom when a burglar breaks into the room. She resists and ends up all bruises and raggle-taggle. As she refuses to call the police, TUNG suspects something bad has happened to her. He asks YEE to check out what has actually happened. KWAI requests TUNG to cut her pork chop and feed her, as her hand has been injured. She also tells him to go to the movie with her, saying she feels insecure after her injury. KWAI refuses to attend a lineup at the police station. YEE sincerely believes her appearance is not so bad that she scared the burglar away. So she asks YUNG about the truth. He promises on condition she goes to the cinema with him.

Chung Kwok-Chu is a renowned food critic and an assistant editor-in-chief of a newspaper, Ko Jim Daily. When his son, Si-Hon returns from Canada, Chu is disappointed to find that Si Hon intends to become a chef rather than taking up a professional career. His attempts to guide his son away are thwarted when Shum Bui-yee, a well-known and respected chef, reluctantly accepts Si-Hon as her assistant. Meanwhile, Kwok-Chu struggles to keep peace amongst extended family members.
