Episode synopsis
Shortly after CHU has warned JIMMY not to lay a finger on NGA a person from JIMMY’s calls and informs her that somebody else will give her an interview. CHU orders flowers for NGA at a flower shop. KEUNG is also at the shop, doing exactly the same thing. HON has made some fermented bean curd. CHU tells NGA not to eat it, adding that she should reject things she does not like at once. SUM asks CHU what kind of person KEUNG is. As KEUNG has many shortcomings, CHU does not want to see NGA going out with him. SUM suggests asking HOI for help. HON dashes for the Judo court after work, for fear KEUNG will give HOI a good lesson. HOI hopes KEUNG will give up chasing NGA, but KEUNG says HOI has no authority over him. KEUNG challenges HOI to a fight.

Chung Kwok-Chu is a renowned food critic and an assistant editor-in-chief of a newspaper, Ko Jim Daily. When his son, Si-Hon returns from Canada, Chu is disappointed to find that Si Hon intends to become a chef rather than taking up a professional career. His attempts to guide his son away are thwarted when Shum Bui-yee, a well-known and respected chef, reluctantly accepts Si-Hon as her assistant. Meanwhile, Kwok-Chu struggles to keep peace amongst extended family members.
