Episode synopsis
The feature on the retrospective on LAU SZE-SZE’s work ranks the most popular story in terms of Internet hit count. As a reward, HING gives them two tickets to a Macau show, as well as free transportation and accommodation. HOI tells NGA to meet him in Macau, as he needs to go to Judo practice. He does not make it in the end because of foot injury. There will be a new column on modern-day perspective on love and relationship in the paper. HOI and NGA volunteer to take the job. HING suggests they each write a piece of story. Whoever writes better will get the job. HING likes both of their stories. KWAN therefore suggests using both, and naming the column “Mixed Soup”. HOI and NGA do not want to carry on writing for the column. However, someone has placed an ad on the page already and so it is too late to cut the column. CHU tells them to each produce a story under the title of “the most romantic place to express your love in Hong Kong”.… ...

Chung Kwok-Chu is a renowned food critic and an assistant editor-in-chief of a newspaper, Ko Jim Daily. When his son, Si-Hon returns from Canada, Chu is disappointed to find that Si Hon intends to become a chef rather than taking up a professional career. His attempts to guide his son away are thwarted when Shum Bui-yee, a well-known and respected chef, reluctantly accepts Si-Hon as her assistant. Meanwhile, Kwok-Chu struggles to keep peace amongst extended family members.
