Episode synopsis
The Inland Revenue Department requests to look at Pakbaodot’s ledgers. TUNG tells KWAI to get the job done as soon as possible. KWAI looks for YEE at Joyful Kitchen. She asks MEI-CHING to help her fix Pakbaodot’s ledgers when she knows that MEI-CHING knows accounting. TUNG’s air-conditioner has broken down. He runs into CHUN as he is buying the necessary parts. He follows CHUN to his shop. CHUN is planning to open a high-end furniture store. A decoration contractor comes to claim his fees which are well in arrear. He also claims that he will leave the decoration work as it is. HON has broken YEE’s pen holder. He asks TUNG to fix it. TUNG learns from his good friend SCOTT that the shopping mall where CHUN’s shop locates is not doing very well, and that CHUN has failed to pay for the rent for a few months. YEE hints that she is going to play the bowling. To her surprise, TUNG does not move at all.

Chung Kwok-Chu is a renowned food critic and an assistant editor-in-chief of a newspaper, Ko Jim Daily. When his son, Si-Hon returns from Canada, Chu is disappointed to find that Si Hon intends to become a chef rather than taking up a professional career. His attempts to guide his son away are thwarted when Shum Bui-yee, a well-known and respected chef, reluctantly accepts Si-Hon as her assistant. Meanwhile, Kwok-Chu struggles to keep peace amongst extended family members.
