Episode synopsis
YUEN is bailed out. LUNG gives him a good dressing down. CHI puts in a good word for him, making other family members believe that YUEN was in fact about to wash his hands off the bookmaking business when he was arrested. The LUNGs are under great pressure because of the wide coverage of the incident. YUEN plans to do a moonlight flit but he is stopped by CHI, who assures him that she is able to exculpate him. Their conversation is overheard by CHIU. BIU, the prosecution witness, changes his statement in the court suddenly and denies that YUEN is the man in charge of the bookmaker’s. MING suspects that BIU is under threat. It turns out the reason for his changing statement is because his son has been kidnapped. MING saves BIU’s son. YUEN is sentenced to four years in jail. KO visits HOI’s grave to tell him the good news. MING is relaxing himself at home now that the case has been cracked.… ...
