Episode synopsis

A field worker named Manzou gets a small field with a shrine from the rich man. A charcoal-maker takes pity on a crane being sold by the road, and pays money to free it. An old man loves to fish at night at a waterfall. He gets old and decides to retire, and gives his fishing pole to a young man. Source: crunchyroll

The narration and all character voices are provided by veteran Japanese film actors Akira Emoto and Yoneko Matsukane. An English-subtitled version began "simulcast" availability on the streaming service Crunchyroll March 12, 2012.
