Coffee cake—there is nothing more relaxing than sitting in a cozy chair with mug of hot coffee and a delicious yet easy cake to go alongside. Anna begins with a basic coffee cake: Sour Cream Pecan Coffee Cake. This cake has a crumbly streusel layer in the middle and on top. Next Anna advances the lesson by adding a fruit layer buckle and bakes a Raspberry Ricotta Buckle. For a truly inspired dessert, Anna combines the gooey goodness of a butter tart with the simplicity of a coffee cake and creates a delightful plated dessert: Butter Tart Coffee Cake.
