Episode synopsis

Ai-chan, also known as Aiko Morimura, is a slightly sentimental girl in the second year of junior high school. Dad went out on a yacht 10 years ago and went missing. The mother of the hat designer is going to Paris, so she moved to her dog Papi and Fujinami's uncle's house. However, Papi dies in a traffic accident. At that time, a rare dog Spank appeared. Clumsy and ugly, but thanks to the nice punk, a smile returns to love. It's a little strange dog, but it was Aiko who had a little expectation for her new life.

About Hello! Spank

Morimura Aiko is a junior high school student who is short for her age. Her father went on a yacht ten years ago and his whereabouts remained in obscurity. Her mother, a designer for hats, left for Paris, leaving Aiko in the care of her uncle, Mr Fujinami. Aiko had a pet dog, Papi, but it died in a car accident. Around the same time, another dog, Spank, appears before her. Having gone through so many unfortunate events in her life, Spank's presence begins to brighten up Aiko's life and put a smile on her face.
