Episode synopsis

Spank enjoying bird watching on the beach. There, I'm completely obsessed with a small parakeet called Pippi. Even if Aiko catches a cold, she will take care of her. And then the feelings completely shift. However, the parakeet was belonging to a girl named Chico that Aiko happened to see at the hospital. Aiko explains the situation and tells her to send Pippi home, but Spunk doesn't want to go home. While running around, Spank comes to the hospital where Chico is. Chico listens to Pippi's voice. I desperately call Pippi's name. Pippi cries with Cheeko Cheeko to respond to that. When Spank saw it, he was shocked and sad, but he swallowed tears and gave up...

About Hello! Spank

Morimura Aiko is a junior high school student who is short for her age. Her father went on a yacht ten years ago and his whereabouts remained in obscurity. Her mother, a designer for hats, left for Paris, leaving Aiko in the care of her uncle, Mr Fujinami. Aiko had a pet dog, Papi, but it died in a car accident. Around the same time, another dog, Spank, appears before her. Having gone through so many unfortunate events in her life, Spank's presence begins to brighten up Aiko's life and put a smile on her face.
