Episode synopsis
SHEK'S sister, YI who is unemployed, reports to work at LONG'S clinic. YI starts to fall for YAN. On a barbecue party, SHEK and SHAN appear as a good pair. MAN helps suck blood for SHEK who has been bitten by a snake. Seeing them, LONG feels sad. FONG admires the ambition and the professional writing of WAH. CHUNG misunderstands and speaks ill of FONG to others. FONG reprimands CHUNG severely. SHAN hesitates to accept KEN'S proposal in marriage but she finally agrees after consideration. NAM mistakably has a fight with a man who only escorts MAN home. MAN threatens to transfer NAM who later seeks for help from SHEK. This, however, makes LONG misunderstand SHEK and SHAN more. SHAN persuades SHEK to pay more attention to LONG. Finally, SHEK and LONG clear up the misunderstanding.
About Man's Best Friend
Although Tai Jin-sek has a canine partner, Rocky, he does not get along with his neighbour, Man Wing-long, who is a dog-loving veterinarian. When Wing-long's dog goes missing, she is quick to accuse Jin-sek of being the cause. The dynamics between the two neighbours change when Wing-long's friend, Au Ji-san, moves in with Wing-long and Jin-sek quickly falls in love with her. To complicate things further, Wing-long is also fielding a love interest at work, from a fellow veterinarian, Man Hok-yan.
