Episode synopsis

Pompeii, 79 AD, the night before the eruption. The journey of "Tonight in Pompeii" with Alberto Angela begins here, in the hours before the catastrophe. Minute by minute we will follow the tragedy that has forever marked ancient history by recounting the reactions, the emotions, the escape. And what happened next. You will see many places stuck in time like Pompeii. Herculaneum, with its marvelous thermal baths still intact and the fabulous jewels found on the skeletons of the fugitives. Stabia, Oplonti and their pharaonic villas with swimming pools and views over the Gulf of Naples.

Just you in front of the masterpieces in the silence. The Museum seems to show and offer you its treasures in an atmosphere of intimacy.
