Episode synopsis

The Lutai under the charge of Chonghou Hu, the Marquis of Beibo, was renovated today. King Zhou held a banquet on it for his ministers. It was indeed beautiful and magnificent. During the dinner, King Zhou remembered what Daji had said that day: "On the day Lutai is built, there will be gods coming." Then he asked Daji when the immortal would come, but Daji hesitated vaguely. The television series are based on the classical 16th-century novel Fengshen Yanyi (also known as Investiture of the Gods or Creation of the Gods) written by Xu Zhonglin and Lu Xixing.
