Episode synopsis

In order to save Daji, King Zhou forced Bigan to commit suicide. Bigan angrily cut out his sincere heart and threw it to King Zhou. With the help of the talisman given by Ziya back then, he barely managed to maintain his vitality. His face was pale and he staggered out. On the way, he met a woman selling spinach. Bigan stepped forward and asked what happened if she had no heart. The woman replied, "If you don't care, you will die." Ziya's spiritual talisman was broken, and Bigan died of hatred. Daji showed her true body and laughed and walked away. Feihu Jizi and Weizi waited for a group of loyal and righteous ministers to arrive on flying horses, but they could never bring back the old prime minister's heroic spirit. The grand master Wen Zhong happened to be returning from the expedition and was surprised to ask what happened. After learning about Bigan's death, he was so sad that he almost fainted.

The television series are based on the classical 16th-century novel Fengshen Yanyi (also known as Investiture of the Gods or Creation of the Gods) written by Xu Zhonglin and Lu Xixing.
